Types of "Internet-famous Villages" and Their Internal Motivations for Formation: Based on Case Analysis of 12 "Internet-famous Villages" in Shanghai

A batch of "Internet-famous Villages" have emerged across the country, attracting widespread attention and attracting a high number of tourists for vacation, sightseeing and inspection. Regarding these emerging Internet-famous Villages and the driving mechanisms behind their emergence, some studies have explained them from different perspectives. In recent years, Shanghai has revitalized its rural appearance through the construction of rural revitalization demonstration villages and beautiful rural demonstration villages, forming a batch of "Internet-famous Villages" featuring appealing highlights, distinct characteristics, a steady flow of visitors, good reputations, thriving industries, and promising development. This study selected 12 representative and highly reputable "Internet-famous Villages" from 9 agricultural-related areas for research, forming a research report.
