The Journal of Chinese Human Resources Management (JCHRM) is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Porcelain Publishing International Limited (ISSN: 2040-8005; EISSN: 2040-8013). The Journal of Chinese Human Resources Management has reached significant milestones in its academic recognition: it is indexed in Web of Science's Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) collection, holding a Q3 ranking in the Management discipline alongside a Journal Impact Factor (JIF) of 2.4. Meanwhile, the journal is also indexed in Scopus, with a CiteScore of 2.6.
In order to further enhance the international influence of the Journal of Chinese Human Resources Management, promote the academic exchange of young scientists, and support the Editorial Board with additional expertise, the journal is inviting interested and eligible early career researchers to apply for Early Career Editorial Board (ECEB) membership.
Many Early Career Editorial Board Members will be recruited. These Early Career Editorial Board (ECEB) members will hold the position for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term.
Application Eligibility:
- Candidates must have completed their doctorate/Ph.D. degree in the past 10 years (considering exceptions for career interruptions, including medical and family leave);
- There must be evidence of significant research achievements in the human resource management;
- Candidates must be willing to dedicate their time to the development of the journal with passion and enthusiasm;
- Candidates must be researchers that are active and engaged in their community (e.g., experienced at presenting at academic conferences or involved in professional organizations).
Benefits of an Early Career Editorial Board Member:
- A certificate of appointment as an Early Career Editorial Board Member will be provided;
- An opportunity to be promoted to Editorial Board Member within 1year based on contributions;
- The journal will regularly acknowledge those who participated in the peer-review process on the journal website;
Responsibilities of an Early Career Editorial Board Member:
- Publicizing and promoting the journal at academic conferences and among peers;
- Selecting high-quality articles and preparing media content for promotion;
- Reviewing at least four manuscripts per year;
- Providing input on any new initiatives of journal development;
- Inviting submissions from local and world-leading scientists in their respective fields of research.
