Comprehensive Evaluation of Employee Job Satisfaction Based on the Entropy-Weighted TOPSIS Decision Making Method
Employees, as the backbone of an enterprise, are essential to its development. The job satisfaction of enterprise employees plays a critical role in the operation and growth of the enterprise. This paper aims to propose a comprehensive evaluation index and method for assessing employee job satisfaction, thereby assisting enterprises in evaluating their employee job satisfaction more effectively. In this paper, we first construct a comprehensive evaluation index system for employee job satisfaction from multiple perspectives, comprising nine indicators. Next, we apply the entropy weight method to determine more objective and accurate indicator weights. Finally, by combining the entropy weight method (EWM) and the TOPSIS method, we conducted a comprehensive evaluation of employee job satisfaction. To validate this method, we applied it to evaluate the job satisfaction of employees in a technology-driven enterprise. The evaluation of the case study reveals that the research findings can assist enterprises in understanding the level of employee job satisfaction, thereby providing effective decision-making support for enhancing employee job satisfaction within the organization.
