Lung Cancer Patients' Cognitive Impairment: Assessment Tools and Key Influencing Factors
Cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) is one of the most common central nervous system complications in patients with lung cancer during anti-tumor treatment. It not only reduces patients' motivation to participate in medical decisionmaking and adhere to treatment regimens but also severely impairs their daily living functions, health-related quality of life, and long-term treatment prognosis. This narrative review summarizes the research progress regarding assessment tools and influencing factors of CRCI in patients with lung cancer, with the aim of providing evidence for the development of individualized and multi-dimensional cognitive protection programs and targeted intervention strategies in clinical practice. Ultimately, this work is expected to further promote the continuous optimization of the overall rehabilitation quality of patients with lung cancer.
